Popular Tourism Site Names Phu Quoc Island as One of Top 10 Beautiful Asian Islands

Phu Quoc Island is one of the Top 10 Beautiful Asian Islands. This is according to the famous tourism website http://www.topinspired.com.

Phu Quoc is located in the Southern Province of Kien Giang and is the biggest island in Viet Nam. It has a 150-kilometre long coastline and breathtaking beaches, rightfully earning the nickname “Pearl Island in the Southern Sea.” Tourists visiting the place will be treated to a variety of activities such as diving, kayaking, massage or simply relaxing by the beach. Food is served fresh daily, mostly seafood caught everyday and cooked right away by the locals.

Phu Quoc Island was initially a quiet, undiscovered paradise, but through effective tourism, visitors increased over time, 12% every year for the last seven years. In 2016, over 600,000 local and foreign tourists arrived in the island. But despite it becoming a growing tourist destination, it has maintained its natural state, leaving some areas totally untouched and open to discovery by the adventure-seekers.
