Covering the periods of 2015-2020, Quang Binh has created 34 projects in the field of tourism. With a total capital of more than 23 trillion VND (1.03 billion USD), investments are seriously needed to get the projects in motion.
The said projects were established in order to upgrade the socio-economic development of the central province. Among them are: an entertainment park in Dong Hoi City costing 1.5-2 trillion VND; the Da Nhay – Ba Trai Resort and Tourism Complex worth at least 1.5 trillion VND; an eco-tourism complex in Bo Trach District valued at 1 trillion VND; a 36-hole golf course in Quang Ninh District which also costs a whopping 1 trillion VND; a luxury resort in Dong Hoi City which takes a colossal amount of 2.5 trillion VND to build; and a 1.2 trillion VND mineral water eco-tourism site project in Le Thuy District.

At present, Quang Binh is in the process of completing legal procedures to award investment licenses to 28 of the total number of tourism projects by the end of the month. This includes both domestic and international sectors which are interested in financing specific projects which the province released. Totalling to 28 trillion VND (1.26 billion USD) and six other projects requiring over 1 trillion VND (45.4 million USD), Le Manh Hung, Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Planning and Investment, is hopeful that investors will come in for the advancement of the economy of Quang Binh.
