The 9th Danang International Firework Festival was celebrated last April 30, 2017 at Han River. With the theme “Shining Marble Mountains,” Vietnam forged partnerships with different countries to make the festivity more elegant and memorable.
A unique, extravagant fireworks display opened the ceremony set up by teams from Vietnam and Austria. An art performance was participated in by both domestic and multi-national artists. Austrian artists performed a horn-blowing and flag-dance show. One-of-a-kind music performances were played by popular DJs. Other activities were a balloon show and paragliding, all with cooperation from foreign groups including the sound, light, and even a 3D mapping image system, all state-of-the-art and world-class.
Among the top-notch performers in the grand celebration are Cao Minh; famous choreographer and “people’s artist” Bach Hac – Mai Trung – Dieu Hy; M4U music band; and hundreds more world-renowned artists from theatres and art companies throughout the Country.
The Han River was set up with a five-element floating stage with smaller stage models and a 22,000 seating capacity. The stage was designed with a backdrop of the sky, creating a spectacular effect with the fireworks along with the river reflecting it and thus making it more dramatic. Beautiful flower garlands and powerful torches add a final amazing effect to the whole display.

Die Han-Fluss wurde mit einem fünf-Elemente-Seebühne mit kleiner Bühne Modelle und ein 22.000 Sitzplätze eingerichtet. Die Bühne wurde mit einem Hintergrund des Himmels, erstellen einen spektakulären Effekt mit dem Feuerwerk zusammen mit dem Fluss reflektiert und dadurch dramatischer konzipiert. Schöne Blumengirlanden und leistungsstarke Fackeln hinzufügen einen endgültige erstaunlichen Effekt das ganze Display.
Teams from Italy, China, Japan, Switzerland, England and Australia also offered their expertise in the monumental affair. A street festival with nine opulent floats, a five-element cuisine with more than 500 dishes and other more impressive activities have been meticulously lined up for this year’s DIFF to make it truly grand and memorable.
